Cups, spoons and plates are quotidian objects in our daily life. We use them everyday but we seldom take a closer look at them to discover and appreciate their uniqueness and relevance to our personal life. These ceramic works created by a group of participants from SAHK, who took part in a creative experiment led by renowned Hong Kong ceramicist Sara Tse. Through the process of handling clay, the participants stepped out of their daily work routine, and created works that not only became vessels of each individual's unique creativity, but also fostered a new way of self-expression. These ceramic objects display a tangible weakness aesthetic with visceral appeal to all.
