"Ingat!" That's what we say when we part ways. What are the goodbyes we say as migrant workers? Goodbye to our families, our homes, the lives we used to live, and sometimes even the places we live in at this very moment. Ingat is a reminder to take care of ourselves – both physically and mentally. But for others, Ingat has come to mean more than just "take care." Ingat is a prayer. Ingat is a blessing.

Migrant domestic worker-led creative collectives have continued to organize and support members by facilitating collaboration and expression, in Hong Kong as well as transnationally.Ingat is an anthology of prose, poetry and photography, co-published by a collective of migrant domestic worker creatives in Hong Kong including members of Migrant Writers of Hong Kong and Lensational, co-published with local indie art press Small Tune Press.

作為移民工，我們說的告別話有很多種。我們告別家人、告別家園、告別我們曾經生活過的生活，有時甚至包括我們現在居住的地方。在這種情況下，我們通常會說一句祝福的說話，希望對方保重，身心安康。這個字詞「Ingat」為他加祿語(Tagalog)，中文可以解作「保重」，或者是「注意身體」。「Ingat」的意義在於我們對他人的祝福和關懷。

在香港，一直有由不同國籍的家務移工成立的創作社群，成員間彼此支援及協作，同時也產生各樣的交流。《Ingat》是一本包含散文、詩歌和攝影作品的結集，由香港的外籍家務移工合作出版，包括移工作家團體 Migrant Writers of Hong Kong，及推動被邊緣的女性影像創作社群 Lensational。本地獨立藝術出版社Small Tune Press作是次出版支援。
