Goodbye to our families, our homes, the lives we used to live, and sometimes even the places we live in at this very moment. 作為移民工,我們說的告別話有很多種。我們告別家人、告別家園、告別我們曾經生活過的生活,有時甚至包括我們現在居住的地方。在這種情況下,我們通常會說一句祝福的說話,希望對方保重,身心安康。這個字詞「Ingat」為他加祿語(Tagalog),中文可以解作「保重」,或者是「注意身體」。「Ingat」的意義在於我們對他人的祝福和關懷。

在香港,一直有由不同國籍的家務移工成立的創作社群,成員間彼此支援及協作,同時也產生各樣的交流。《Ingat》是一本包含散文、詩歌和攝影作品的結集,由香港的外籍家務移工合作出版,包括移工作家團體 Migrant Writers of Hong Kong,及推動被邊緣的女性影像創作社群 Lensational。本地獨立藝術出版社Small Tune Press作是次出版支援。
