About Saamsyu
三竪 saamsyu 是一個充滿動畫風格的本地插畫單位，取名於 Illustration 的首三個英文字母的三竪 “Ill”。細膩的線條與光影加上充滿電影感的16:9比例，三竪的插畫驟眼看就像動畫電影凝住的一幕畫面。主理人 Chino 於香港浸會大學藝術系畢業，深受80年代動畫影響，對螢幕裡的光度及質感十分著迷。Chino 喜歡平靜感，尤其喜歡物件及環境的呼應令他想起小時候的親切感，所以主要以物件為作畫對象。
The name “saamsyu” is come from Cantonese phonetic letters of “三竪”, it means three strokes in Chinese character, but also the three of ‘Ill’ustration. Saamsyu mainly focus on still object or product as leading role, with the 80’s anime style and the texture of light from the monitor. Calmness with drawing.
