Queer Reads Lexicon is a project started by Queer Reads Library in 2019, to explore queerness in through locality and languages. It serves as a public-engaged online platform to collect queer words in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, as well as images, with a focus on contemporary Chinese and Asian queer communities across the world.
About Queer Reads Library
Queer Reads Library (QRL) is a mobile collection of books and independently published zines centred around queer narratives and themes. Established in 2018, QRL is a collaboration between artist-curator Kaitlin Chan, artist-writer Rachel Lau and artist-publisher Beatrix Pang.
